The Bash has a way of making baseball history feel less like a museum and more like a ballpark you can walk into. One inning, you are close enough to hear John McGraw barking from the bench; the next, you catch Dick Williams standing at the dugout rail with that piercing stare.
A Bash Magazine photographer was there for Games Two and Three, chronicling two days in the Round One series between the 1912 New York Giants and the 1982 San Diego Padres. He was there to capture the faces, moments, and contrasts that told the story as these two clubs tried to survive and move on in the Big Beautiful Baseball Bash.
